Marketplace Hunter

Terms of use

Last updated 13 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Konstantinos Moraitis, a sole trader trading as Marketplace Hunter, of 26 The Hornet, Chichester, West Sussex, PO19 7BB ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them. Contact: support@marketplacehunter.co.uk.

1. The service

Marketplace Hunter checks public Facebook Marketplace listings for the searches you save and notifies you about new matches. Marketplace Hunter is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc., and has no access to your Facebook account.

We work hard to alert you quickly, but we can't guarantee that every listing will be found, or how fast. Listings appear only after Facebook makes them public, Facebook may change or limit access to Marketplace at any time, and checks can be delayed by outages. We don't verify listings, sellers or items. Any purchase is between you and the seller.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or over. Keep your login details safe; you're responsible for activity on your account. One person per account; don't share it.

3. Plans and payment

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until cancelled. Prices include VAT and are shown before you subscribe.

We may change prices for future billing periods. We'll tell you at least 30 days before, and you can cancel before the change applies. If you're a consumer, you have 14 days to cancel a website purchase. Because the service starts straight away when you ask it to, you agree that we can deduct the value of the service already provided from any refund.

Plan features, such as how often searches are checked, are targets. Busy periods or outages may occasionally slow checks.

4. Fair use

Don't misuse Marketplace Hunter: no reselling or redistributing alerts, scraping or overloading our service, sharing accounts, or using Marketplace Hunter for anything unlawful, including harassing sellers. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

5. Ending the service

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may end or suspend the service with reasonable notice, or straight away if you seriously break these terms. If we end a paid plan without cause, we'll refund the unused part of your current period.

6. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise we're not liable for losses that weren't foreseeable, business losses, or missed deals or purchases, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

7. Changes to these terms

We'll give you notice of material changes. If you don't agree, you can cancel before they take effect.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of the UK nation where you live.

Apple-specific terms

If you use the iPhone app, Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement also applies. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support, and has no warranty obligations for it.
